EXPERIENCE...

​​​​​​Kristie was admitted to the New York State Bar in October 2005 and actively practiced law there until November 2014 when she relocated to Knoxville.  She remains an active member, in Good Standing, of the New York State Bar with an unblemished disciplinary history. She was also a Licensed Real Estate Broker and focused on residential properties.


Upon arriving in Knoxville, Kristie was admitted to the Tennessee Bar and has received all the necessary certifications to become a TN Supreme Court Rule 31 Listed General Civil and Family Law Mediator and has extended training in Domestic Violence.

ABOUT THE ATTORNEY...

PERSONAL...

​Kristie lived on Long Island, appeared in the Courts of both Nassau and Suffolk Counties as well as the City Courts (Brooklyn, Queens, Bronx, Manhattan and Staten Island).  She was mainly a Civil Litigation Trial Attorney, but also engaged in criminal defense work.  She is experienced in:  Family Law {Divorce, Child Custody and Child Support; Guardian Ad Litem (GAL)}; Insurance Defense; No Fault; Personal Injury; Consumer Debt & Collections; Drafting Wills, Powers of Attorney and Health Care Proxys; Real Estate (Contracts and Closings); Landlord/Tenant Issues and more. 

Since arriving in Knoxville, Kristie has taught Wills, Trusts & Estates at Pellissippi State Community College as well as Criminal Procedure, Legal Ethics and Employment Law at South College.

​​​​​​​​Kristie enjoys Traveling, the Beach, Boating, Golf, all Sports and anything with a motor. She also loves animals and has a special place in her heart for Pit Bulls.

Kristie spent some time at both Elon College (now University) in North Carolina and the State University of New York at Cortland.  She then transferred to and graduated from Suffolk County Community College with an A.A. in Liberal Arts.  Later, she received her B.A. in History and Political Science with a concentration in Pre-Law from Southampton College of Long Island University in 1998.  In 2004 she received her J.D. (Juris Doctor) from Touro College, Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center.
